Partners
With a partner account, agencies and resellers set up Webmetic for their customers, under their own name if they like.
Your partner account is a normal Webmetic account with its own websites and its own dashboard, plus the partner area for your customers. An agency, for example, creates an account there for a machine builder and then sees how many companies Webmetic identifies for it.
You become a partner through webmetic.de/partner, and Webmetic sets up the partner area for your account.
If you want to add your first customer, start with Add customers.
Open the partner area
All users of your partner account see the partner area with its four windows:
- Menu > Partner area > White-label domain: offer the dashboard on a subdomain of your own domain.
- Menu > Partner area > Branding: upload your logo and set your colour.
- Menu > Partner area > Features: decide what your white-label customers see.
- Menu > Partner area > Customers: add customers and look after them.
You also reach the same four windows and your partner page through the Partner badge at the top of the dashboard.
Two choices per customer
For each customer you decide two things:
- Billing: With By you, you invoice the customer, and they receive no Webmetic plan. With By Webmetic, Webmetic sends the invoice directly to the customer.
- White-label: Webmetic sends no emails to a white-label customer and sends all emails to you instead. Under Features, you decide which areas they see.
White-label and By Webmetic exclude each other: white-label is only available while you invoice the customer.
Partner page
Your partner page has an address like webmetic.de/p/agency-example, and Webmetic derives the name at the end from your website. Anyone who signs up there becomes your customer, invoiced by you. You copy the link with Partner > Copy link and open the page with View page.
